In this article, solid waste management has been studied as one of the problems of this Industrial Estate. The method of this article has been on the basis of observation and completion of subjective questionnaires distributed among 61% of the active industrial units. Study of finding show that majority of industries, have a passive approach toward remarks of environment protection, absorption of environment experts and scientific management of Solid wastes. In this regard, only 13.4% of the units have environment experts, 14.9% of industrial units have taken an action for studying their solid wastes. For this reason, two industrial units have been able to selected as Green unit in Guilan province. Metal and nonmetal mineral Industries groups have the most amount of industrial solid waste with 26.80% and 20.72% respectively, and Metal Industrial groups with 19% and textile industries with 15.23% have the most weight of House-hold solid wastes. About 4.45% of the units have recycled their solid wastes and 21.20% of them do the recycling together with other management activities such as source reduction, incineration and Sanitary Land fill. About 1.51% of industrial units have incinerated their Solid Wastes but no precise control is made on air pollution. In summary the industrial units under study in Industrial Estate of Rasht produce 3903.8 tons of industrial solid wastes per year and 217.2 tons of House-hold solid wastes per year. According to the obtained results, upon development of industrial activities in factories and increase of the number of staffs, the volume of produced solid wastes will increase in future. Accumulation of these wastes in the Industrial Estate will create undesirable environmental effects and more consumption of resources. By applying an integrated solid waste management system in Industrial Estate of Rasht, production of solid waste is decreased and increasing industrial development will be maintained. شهر صنعیت رشت در استان گیلان یکی از قدیمی ترین شهرهای صنعتی ایران می باشد. پیش از انقلاب و در سال 1353 تاسیس شده است. این شهر صنعتی که بزرگ ترین شهرک صنعتی فعال استان می باشد، در فاصله 18 کیلومتری جنوب غربی شهر رشت قرار دارد. در این مقاله مدیریت پسمانده به عنوان یکی از معضلات آن مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. روش کار دراین مقاله بر اساس مشاهده و تکمیل پرسشنامه های موضوعی در 61 درصد واحدهای فعال صنعتی بوده است. بررسی یافته هانشان می دهد که اکثر صنایع شهر صنعتی مورد مطالعه رویکرد منفعلانه ای نسبت به ملاحظات حفاظت محیط زیست ، جذب کارشناس محیط زیست و مدیریت علمی پسمانده دارند. در این راستا تنها 4/13 درصد از وادحدها دارای کارشناس محیط زیست می باشند، 9/14 درصد از واحدهای صنعتی اقدام به مطالعه پسماندهای خود نموده اند.از این رو 2 واحد توانسته اند به عنوان واحد سبز در سطح استان گیلان انتخاب شوند. گروه های صنایع کانی فلزی و غیر فلزی به ترتیب با 80/26 درصد و 72/20 درصد بیشترین میزان پسماندهای صنعتی و گروه های صنایع فلزی با 19 درصد و نساجی با 23/15 درصد نیز بیشترین میزان وزنی پسماندهای شبه خانگی را در سال تولید می نماین. حدود 54/4 درصد ازواحدها مبادرت به بازیافت پسماندهای خود می نمایندو 20/21 درصد از واحدها بازیافت را به همراه دیگر فعالیت های مدیریتی نظیر کاهش از مبدا، سوزاندن و دفن بهداشتی انجام می دهند. حدود 51/1 درصد از واحدها نیز اقدام به سوزاندن پسماندهای خود مینمایند که هیچ گونه نظارت دقیق بر کنترل آلودگی هوا در آنها وجود ندارد. در مجموع، واحدهای صنعتی مورد مطالعه در شهر صنعتی رشت سالانه 8/3903 تن پسماند صنعتی و 2/217 تن پسماند شبه خانگی تولید می نمایند. طبق نتایج به دست آمده ، با توسعه فعالیت های صنعتی در کارخانه ها و افزایش تعداد پرسنل ، حجم پسماندهای تولیدی در اینده افزایش خواهد یافت تجمع این زایدات در شهر صنعتی باعث ایجاد اثرات ناسازگار محیط زیستی و مصرف بیشتر منابع خواهد شد. با اعمال سیستم جامع مدیریت پسماند در شهر صنعتی رشت، در ضمن کاهش تولید پسماند روند رو به رشد توسعه صنعتی نیز حفظ می گردد.
