The geostatistics theory is used to estimate spatial variables in unmeasured points. By using the CoKriging estimator and using information about the correlation between variables, a more accurate estimation of a variable (main variable) can be obtained using auxiliary information (secondary variables). Due to the importance of Isfahan Province because of the large population living in this province and the extent of agricultural and industrial activities, there is a need for sufficient information on the distribution of selenium in this area. The present study investigated the distribution of selenium and provided maps of its distribution in the surface soils of this province. Material and methods: The study region has an area of about 6800 km2 and covers a large part of the agricultural lands and the major industrial centers of Isfahan. Samples were taken from depths of 0 to 20 cm from the soil surface and 255 samples from the whole area in 4 × 4 km networks by using a stratified random sampling design. All soil samples were analyzed for pH, electrical conductivity (EC), sand, clay, silt content, and organic matter percentage. Total selenium concentrations were measured by XRF in only 72 samples. Statistical and geostatistical calculations were performed by SPSS and WinGslib, respectively, and maps were drawn by ILWIS and Surfer software. Results and discussion: The mean concentration of selenium in the study area was 0.63 mg/kg with a min and max amount of 0.5 and 1.5 mg/kg, respectively. There was a positive and significant correlation between the selenium concentration and soil’s EC. Therefore, EC was used to reduce the selenium estimation error by the CoKriging method. While toxicity level of selenium starts at 5 (mg/kg) for humans and animals, in this study, deficiency threshold for total soil selenium was 0.6 mg/kg and, therefore, the study area can be identified as selenium-deficient because more than 50% of the area had a concentration of less than 0.6 mg/kg and about 12% of the area has a high concentration of selenium in unpolluted soils. No toxicity of this element to humans and livestock was observed. Large parts of Isfahan Province have an arid climate with alkaline pH soils. Given the low levels of selenium in both agricultural and non-agricultural lands, it seems that the native material of this area, which is often the alluvial constituent of the Zayandehrood River, is poor in selenium. On the other hand, the deficiency of this element in agricultural lands indicates that farmers in these areas do not use selenium-containing fertilizers. The highest concentration of selenium was located in the city of Mobarake. There is a huge steel industry in this area. The dominant wind direction of the region is introduced as a threat factor in the transfer of selenium-containing atmospheric emissions from the industrial areas of Mobarka to more populated areas of the province Conclusion: Industries are more concentrated in the city of Isfahan and its surrounding areas and thus selenium concentration is higher in these areas than the neighboring areas. The steel industry in Mobarakeh is an agent for the introduction of selenium into the atmosphere and finally the soil. Winds probably play a role in transmitting selenium to the northeastern part of the region. However, no toxicity of this element was observed in all the studied areas but even selenium deficiency was observed. Therefore, using selenium-rich fertilizers in the region is recommended.}, keywords = {Geostatistic,Co-Kriging,Zayandehrood River,Mobarake}, title_fa = {بررسی الگوی مکانی غلظت سلنیوم کل درخاک سطحی بخش‌هایی از ایران مرکزی (مطالعه موردی: استان اصفهان)}, abstract_fa = {سابقه و هدف: بررسی الگوی تغییرهای مکانی عنصرهای سنگین در بسیاری از برنامه ریزی های کاربردی، دارای اهمیت بسیار زیادی است. برای تخمین متغیرهای ناحیه ای در نقاط اندازه گیری نشده از نظریه زمین آمار استفاده می شود. با استفاده از تخمینگر کوکریجینگ و بهره گیری از مطالعات مربوط به همبستگی دوجانبه ی بین متغیرها، میتوان تخمین مناسب و دقیق تری از متغیر موردنظر (متغیر اصلی) با بهره گیری از مقادیر دیگر متغیرها (متغیر  ثانویه) به دست آورد. با توجه به اهمیت استان اصفهان از نظر فعالیتهای کشاورزی و صنعتی و همچنین جمعیت زیاد ساکن در این استان وجود نداشتن مطالعات کافی در زمینه توزیع عنصر سلنیوم در این منطقه، مطالعه حاضر به منظور بررسی توزیع عنصر سلنیوم و ارائه نقشه های پراکنش این عنصر در خاک های سطحی این استان برنامه ریزی گردید. مواد و روشها: منطقه مورد مطالعه، مساحتی در حدود 6800 کیلومترمربع داشته و قسمتهای وسیعی از زمینهای کشاورزی استان اصفهان و مراکز بزرگ صنعتی اصفهان را در بر می گیرد. در مطالعه حاضر از روش نمونه برداری تصادفی طبقه بندی شده استفاده شد. نمونه ها از عمق 0 تا ۲0 سانتیمتری از سطح خاک و در کل 55 نمونه از کل منطقه در شبکه های 4×4 کیلومتر برداشت شد. pH ،هدایت الکتریکی خاک، درصد شن، رس، سیلت، درصد مواد آلی و غلظت کل سلنیوم توسط دستگاه XRF اندازه گیری شد. اما به لحاظ بالا بودن هزینه های XRF ،غلظت سلنیوم کل، تنها برای 7 نمونه مورد آنالیز قرار گرفت. محاسبات آماری و زمین آماری به ترتیب توسط نرم افزار SPSS و WinGslibو نیز تهیه نقشه ها توسط نرم افزارهای ILWIS و Surfer صورت گرفت.  نتایج و بحث: میانگین غلظت سلنیوم در منطقه مطالعاتی 0.63 میلیگرم بر کیلوگرم خاک با حداقل و حداکثر 0.5 و 1.5 میلیگرم بر کیلوگرم میباشد. براساس ضرایب همبستگی میان غلظت سلنیوم و EC خاک، همبستگی مثبت و معنی داری مشاهده شد. بنابراین از EC به منظور کاهش خطای تخمین سلنیوم توسط ابزار کوکریجینگ استفاده گردید. در این پژوهش، حد آستانه کمبود برای سلنیوم کل خاک برابر 0.6 میلیگرم بر کیلوگرم و حد سمیت این عنصر برای انسان و دام از 5 میلیگرم بر کیلوگرم آغاز میشود بر این اساس بهطور میانگین میتوان منطقه مورد مطالعه را در محدوده کمبود سلنیوم معرفی کرد چرا که بیش از 50 درصد نقاط دارای غلظت کمتر از0.6 میلیگرم بر کیلوگرم سلنیوم و حدود 1 درصد از نقاط، دارای غلظت بیش از حد مجاز سلنیوم در خاکهای غیرآلوده هستند اما سمیت این عنصر برای انسان و دام در منطقه مطالعاتی مشاهده نمی گردد. بخشهای وسیعی از استان اصفهان را اقلیم خشک با خاکهای دارای pH قلیایی در برگرفته است. با توجه به این نکته که زمینهای با غلظت پایین سلنیوم هم در کاربریهای کشاورزی و هم غیرکشاورزی مشاهده میگردد، به نظر میرسد نوع ماده مادری این منطقه که بیشتر سازندهای آبرفتی رودخانه ی زاینده رود هستند از نظر سلنیوم فقیر هستند. ازسوی دیگر کمبود این عنصر در زمینهای کشاورزی گویای توجه نکردن کشاورزان این منطقه ها به استفاده از کودهای شامل سلنیوم است. بیشترین غلظت های سلنیوم در شهرستان مبارکه قرار گرفته است که محل قرارگیری صنایع عظیم فولاد در منطقه است. جهت وزش باد غالب منطقه به عنوان عامل تهدید در انتقال انتشارات اتمسفری حاوی سلنیوم از مناطق صنعتی شهرستان مبارکه به منطقه های پر جمعیت تر استان معرفی میگردد. نتیجه گیری: تمرکز صنایع در شهرستان اصفهان و نواحی اطراف آن، غلظت سلنیوم را در این منطقه ها بیشتر از نواحی مجاور کرده است و صنایع فولاد موجود در شهرستان مبارکه عاملی در جهت ورود سلنیوم به اتمسفر و در نهایت خاک است. باد غالب منطقه نیز چه بسا در انتقال این انتشارات به قسمتهای شمال شرق منطقه، مؤثر میباشد. این در حالی است که در غالب منطقه مورد مطالعه، کمبود این عنصر مشاهده میگردد که استفاده از کودهای شامل سلنیوم لازم به نظر میرسد.}, keywords_fa = {زمین آمار,کوکریجینگ,شهرستان مبارکه,اصفهان}, url = {https://envs.sbu.ac.ir/article_98150.html}, eprint = {https://envs.sbu.ac.ir/article_98150_43109df40f050652279e9a674b0cee90.pdf} }
