The destructive effects of agricultural development on the environment are of great importance. Insufficient attention to the pattern of consumption of production inputs in the agricultural sector as the primary consumer of water in Iran can exacerbate environmental challenges. Inputs misuse such as chemical fertilizers to increase agricultural productivity pollutes water and soil resources. On the other hand, in environmental impact assessment studies, crops have received much more attention than horticultural crops, while horticultural crops generally have more water requirements.Material and methods: As Iran, a semi-arid country, is facing a water shortage crisis, in this study, the evaluation of agricultural activities and apple and grape crops is considered. The ecological footprint and life cycle assessment (LCA) are used as suitable solutions for plans to reduce environmental pressures and meet needs to achieve sustainable development goals. Input generation information of Simapro 9.0.0.49 software was used to analyze the environmental impact. Calculations were performed for a functional unit of 1 kg. Life cycle impact was assessed and categorized into six impact groups: cumulative energy demand, ecological footprint, water footprint, global warming potential, greenhouse gas protocol, and eco-indicator (including greenhouse gases, ozone layer, acidification, eutrophication, heavy metals, pesticide, and energy resources).Results and discussion: According to the results, the water scarcity index based on the water footprint for apples was about 1.7 times that of grapes. The ecological footprint of carbon dioxide and surface occupation for apples was 1.3 and 4.65 times that of the grapes. Based on the accumulation of carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrogen oxides, the potential for global warming was not significantly different between the two crops. Its value for apples was 1.3 times that of grapes. Greenhouse gas emissions and pesticide damages were 1.29 and 4.24 times higher for apples, respectively than for grapes. Consumption of energy sources for one functional unit of two apple and grape crops was 10.1 and 9.13 MJ LHV, respectively.Conclusion: Generally, the evaluation of the environmental impacts of apple and grapes production showed that in most of the studied indicators, apple causes more damage to the environment. However, the reduction of carbon dioxide per kilogram of apple is 44 times the same amount of grapes. Depending on the environmental situation of the study area, it is possible to decide on the cultivation preference of these two crops. Due to the limited water resources in Iran, changing and improving the cultivation pattern on micro and macro scales can significantly affect the environment. Crop management methods such as organic inputs, nitrogen-fixing plants, and tillage management can reduce environmental impacts. The use of biological pest control methods can prevent the improper use of pesticides and toxins, causing minor damage to the environment.}, keywords = {Eco-indicator,environmental impacts,ecological footprint,Resource use,Global warming}, title_fa = {ارزیابی چرخه حیات (LCA) در تولید محصول‌های کشاورزی، مطالعه موردی: سیب و انگور}, abstract_fa = {سابقه و هدف: روش ارزیابی چرخه حیات (LCA)1 از روش‌های جامع ارزیابی است که امکان تخمین اثرهای ‌محیط زیستی تجمعی ناشی از همه مرحله های چرخه حیات یک فعالیت را فراهم می‌آورد. نبود توجه کافی به الگوی مصرف نهاده های تولیدی در بخش کشاورزی به عنوان مصرف کننده اصلی آب در ایران، می تواند سبب تشدید چالش های محیط زیستی شود. اتلاف نهاده هایی مانند کودهای شیمیایی برای افزایش بهره وری، سبب آلودگی منابع آب و خاک می شود. از سوی دیگر در مطالعات مربوط به ارزیابی اثرهای محیط زیستی، محصول های زراعی به مراتب بیشتر از محصول های باغی مورد توجه قرار گرفته است، حال آنکه محصول های باغی آببر تر هستند.مواد و روش ها: با توجه به اینکه ایران به عنوان کشوری نیمه خشک با بحران کم آبی مواجه است، در این مطالعه ارزیابی فعالیت های کشاورزی و محصول های انگور و سیب با استفاده از جاپای بوم شناختی و ارزیابی چرخه حیات  به‌عنوان راهکار مناسبی برای برنامه ریزی های آینده در جهت کاهش فشارهای محیطی و تأمین نیازهای مصرفی در راستای نیل به هدف های توسعه پایدار مدنظر قرارگرفته است. برای اطلاعات مربوط به تولید نهاده ها و تجزیه‌ وتحلیل اثرهای محیط زیستی محصول های انگور و سیب، از نرم‌افزار Simapro 9.0.0.49 استفاده‌ شده است. محاسبات به ازای یک واحد کارکردی معادل با یک کیلوگرم انجام شد. تأثیر چرخه حیات ارزیابی و در شش گروه تأثیر تقاضای انرژی تجمعی، جاپای بوم‌شناختی، جاپای آب، پتانسیل گرمایش جهانی، پروتکل گازهای گلخانه‌ای و سنجه زیستی (شامل گازهای گلخانه ای، لایه اوزون، اسیدی شدن، تغذیه گرایی، فلزهای سنگین، آفت کش و منابع انرژی) دسته بندی شد.نتایج و بحث: براساس نتایج، سنجه کمیابی آب براساس جاپای آب برای سیب حدود 7/1 برابر انگور است. مقدار جاپای بوم‌شناختی کربن دی اکسید و اشغال سطح برای محصول سیب به ترتیب 3/1 و 65/4 برابر محصول انگور می‌باشد. پتانسیل گرمایش جهانی که براساس تجمع گازهای کربن دی‌اکسید، متان و نیتروژن اکسید به دست می آید، تفاوت فاحشی در بین این دو محصول نداشته و مقدار آن برای سیب 3/1 برابر انگور می باشد. تولید گازهای گلخانه‌ای و نیز آسیب ناشی از استفاده از آفت‌کش‌ها برای محصول سیب به ترتیب با نسبت 29/1 و 24/4 بیشتر از محصول انگور است. مقدار مصرف منابع انرژی برای یک واحد عملکردی از دو محصول سیب و انگور به ترتیب برابر 1/10 و 13/9 مگاژول ارزش حرارتی خالص می باشد. نتیجه گیری: به طور کلی ارزیابی اثرهای ‌محیط زیستی تولید دو محصول سیب و انگور نشان داد که در بیشتر سنجه های مورد مطالعه، محصول سیب آسیب بیشتری به محیط‌زیست وارد می‌کند. حال‌آنکه میزان کاهش دی کسید کربن برای یک کیلوگرم محصول سیب 44 برابر همین میزان محصول انگور است. بسته به وضعیت ‌محیط زیستی منطقه مطالعاتی، می‌توان درمورد ترجیح کشت این دو محصول تصمیم‌گیری نمود. با توجه به منابع محدود آب در ایران، تغییر و بهبود الگوی کشت در مقیاس خرد و کلان می تواند تأثیر قابل‌توجهی بر وضعیت محیط زیست بگذارد. روش های مدیریت زراعی مانند کاربرد نهاده های آلی، گیاهان تثبیت کننده نیتروژن و مدیریت خاکورزی می توانند به منظور کاهش اثرهای محیط زیستی مدنظر قرار بگیرند. استفاده از روش های کنترل بیولوژیک آفت ها می تواند از مصرف بیرویه آفت کش ها و سم ها جلوگیری و سبب آسیب کمتر به محیط زیست شود.}, keywords_fa = {Eco-indicator,environmental impacts,ecological footprint,Resource use,Global warming}, url = {https://envs.sbu.ac.ir/article_101926.html}, eprint = {https://envs.sbu.ac.ir/article_101926_3f4246330e83b673bd3c61557f2fd461.pdf} }
